Harit
was a dream, a vision shared by a myriad of young minds. It
was much more than just a bunch of papers attached together
- it was our voice. A voice that reached over to many other
institutions - Hare School, Sister Nibedita School, Vidyasagar
College, Manindra College, Goenka College, Calcutta Girls'
School - to name a few. A voice strengthened by the blessings
of eminent authors such as Kinnar Roy and Sadhan Chattopadhyay.
But Harit fell asleep. This sleep
was just a fleeting phase like the lull before the storm.
Young minds grow, some grow old, but some are kept youthful
by younger minds. Thus old memories are revived, and some
memories come out of the past to become real again.
Harit
is a dream. A dream actualised. Print is replaced by the web
with the essence remaining the same. It still is the voice
of the new, the different, the voice of people who dare to
go against the flow. The significance is perhaps enhanced
by the fact that it has now become a bridge. A bridge not
only over time, but among people who share the one great legacy
- that of Hindu School. It is also a link, a glimpse for those
who are not fortunate enough to be a part of a tradition that
began in 1817, that saw history - indeed, made history - and
that still shines as the cradle of genius.
Now here we are uploading some old edtions of HARIT. They will come gradually in this page. Keep checking for upadates
More are coming soon, check for updates
