All correspondences regarding School administrative services (including admission information) should be sent directly to the address below. The webmasters will not be able to provide any information regarding these services. Still we do not have any permanent address for our alumni [though it seems to be permanent at the back side of our school] and it never tried to perform actively to make a good as well as strong organization for associating the students. This is for the first instance when the Students are taking initiative to make it successful and strong association. Even the so-called Hindu School Alumni Association, Kolkata is running from the so-called Auditorium at the back of our School campus. It is very unhygienic, not only that it is not at all interesting for the coming juniors to be a part of this institution. Though there might be many memories hidden in that room still it is not attracting for a student. The new students are not aware of our Ex-students. Where as we are the one of the Premier Institution in Bengal as well as India and we do not have a culture of forming an organized association. In yahoo group the Hindu School student are alive but that is not available for the entire student community.

So it is one of the an endeavors of the students to make a united community for the HINDU SCHOOL.

Here are some rules for review.
Ordinary members are of 2 types:
1. LIFE MEMBER
2. ANNUAL MEMBER
All past and present member of the faculty of Hindu School, Kolkata is eligible to become TEACHER MEMBER of the association.
A student pursuing any classes or course conducted by Hindu School, Kolkata is eligible to become STUDENT ASSOCIATE MEMBER of the association.
The spouse of a Life Member automatically becomes ASSOCIATE MEMBER.
MEMBERSHIP FEES:
The membership fees are subject to change from time to time and must be verified from the office of the association before taking up the membership. However, the present structure of fees for different types of membership categories are as follows:
1.LIFE MEMBERSHIP: still not decided
The Life Membership Fees is a subscription towards the Corpus Fund of the Association and hence the member can avail tax benefits u/s 80 G of the Income Tax Act,1956. [may be]
2. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: Rs.***** per financial year, i.e. to be renewed on 1st April each year.
3. STUDENT ASSOCIATE: Rs.**** per financial year,i.e.to be renewed on 1st April each year.
4.ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Honorary membership by virtue of spouse being Life Member.
5. TEACHER MEMBER: Annual Membership fees per financial year.
APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP:
So-called Hindu Alumni Association is a body registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. We also enjoy certification from the Income Tax Authorities and hence donations made to the Association are exempt u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Any individual who has been a past student of Hindu School and must have completed at least 1 year of his total education (including Morning section) is eligible to become a member of HINDU SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION. Any past and present member of the faculty is eligible to become a Teacher Member and every present student is eligible to become a Student Member. Spouses of Life Members are conferred the status of Associate Members.
